Awa Lawa Limited, the operator of Santo Draw by SantiLotto, is committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable gaming environment. We take our responsibilities as a licensed gaming operator seriously and place the wellbeing of our players at the centre of everything we do.

This Responsible Gaming Notice sets out the measures we have in place to promote healthy gaming habits, protect vulnerable individuals, and support players who may be experiencing difficulties.

Santo Draw is operated under a Sports Lottery Licence issued by the Ekiti State Lotteries Board, and we comply with all responsible gaming obligations imposed by that licence.

2Who Can Play

Participation in Santo Draw is strictly for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Entry by persons under the age of 18 is prohibited.

We are committed to preventing underage gaming. Our measures include:

  • Age verification checks at registration and where required during the platform journey
  • Mandatory declaration by all users that they are 18 or over at the time of entry
  • Right to request proof of age at any point — failure to provide satisfactory evidence will result in account suspension and forfeiture of any prizes
  • Regular monitoring for indicators of underage activity

3Playing Responsibly — What It Means

Santo Draw is designed to be a fun and entertaining experience. Playing responsibly means keeping it that way. Here are the principles of healthy play:

Signs of Healthy Play

  • You play for entertainment, not to make money or recover losses
  • You set a budget before you play and stick to it
  • You take regular breaks and do not play for extended periods
  • Gaming does not interfere with your work, family, or social life
  • You can stop playing whenever you choose
  • You only play with money you can afford to lose

Warning Signs of Problem Gaming

  • Spending more money than you can afford on draws
  • Chasing losses — entering more draws to try to win back what you have lost
  • Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund your gaming
  • Neglecting work, family, or other responsibilities because of gaming
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not playing
  • Hiding your gaming activity from family or friends
  • Gaming as a way to escape stress, depression, or other difficulties

If you recognise any of these warning signs in yourself or someone you know, please use the tools and support resources described in this Notice.

4Responsible Gaming Tools

We provide the following tools to help you stay in control of your gaming activity. All tools are available free of charge by contacting us at support@santidraw.com.

4.1 Deposit and Spend Limits

You may request a limit on the amount you spend on SantiDraw within a defined period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once a limit is set, it cannot be increased for a cooling-off period of 24 hours to protect against impulsive decisions.

4.2 Time-Out (Cooling-Off Period)

You may request a temporary break from SantiDraw for a period of your choosing — from 24 hours up to 6 weeks. During a time-out period, you will not be able to enter any draws. Your account will be automatically reactivated at the end of the period unless you request an extension.

4.4 Reality Checks

Where available on your device, you may enable periodic reminders of the time you have spent on the Platform during a session. These are designed to help you stay aware of your gaming activity.

4.5 Account Closure

You may request to permanently close your account at any time. Any unused balance or confirmed prize entitlement at the time of closure will be processed in line with our Terms and Conditions.

4.3 Self-Exclusion

If you feel that you need a longer break or a permanent break from gaming, you may request self-exclusion. Self-exclusion options are:

  • Short-term self-exclusion: 6 months
  • Long-term self-exclusion: 1 year or 5 years
  • Permanent self-exclusion: indefinite, with no option to reactivate

During a self-exclusion period, your account will be suspended, all marketing communications will cease, and you will be unable to enter any draws. We will take all reasonable steps to enforce your exclusion.

5Protecting Vulnerable Individuals

We take additional steps to identify and protect players who may be vulnerable due to age, financial difficulty, mental health issues, or other circumstances.

5.1 Our Monitoring Approach

Our team monitors for behavioural indicators of potential harm, including:

  • Sudden or significant increases in spending
  • Patterns consistent with chasing losses
  • Extended periods of continuous play
  • Multiple failed payment attempts

Where we identify concerns, we may make contact to check on your wellbeing and provide information about support tools.

5.2 Third-Party Controls

If you are concerned about a family member's gaming activity, you may contact us to discuss what options are available. We treat all such communications with the utmost sensitivity and confidentiality.

7Our Commitments to You

As a licensed operator, Awa Lawa Limited commits to the following:

  • We will never market Santo Draw to individuals who have self-excluded or requested exclusion from marketing
  • We will respond to all responsible gaming requests within 24 hours
  • We will not use aggressive or manipulative marketing tactics
  • We will keep all responsible gaming requests strictly confidential
  • We will review and update our responsible gaming policies regularly in line with best practice and regulatory guidance
  • We will cooperate fully with the Ekiti State Lotteries Board on all responsible gaming matters
